Welcome to GWS Plumbing and Irrigation. By requesting our services, booking an appointment, or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Provisions
Service Scope: GWS Plumbing and Irrigation provides residential and commercial plumbing, irrigation system installation and maintenance, and emergency plumbing response services.
Agreement: These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Client") and GWS Plumbing and Irrigation.
Quotations: All quotes and estimates are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Unforeseen Complications: While we strive for accuracy, estimates are based on visible conditions. If hidden damage or underlying issues are discovered during the course of work, we will pause operations and provide a revised estimate for your approval before proceeding.
Scope Changes: Any alterations or additions to the original scope of work requested by the Client will incur additional charges.
Call-Out Fees: Emergency dispatch and after-hours call-outs may be subject to a standard call-out fee, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule a standard appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations may incur a nominal cancellation fee.
Invoicing: Payment is strictly due upon completion of the requested services unless a prior corporate credit arrangement has been established.
Deposits: For large-scale plumbing or irrigation installations, a deposit of up to 50% may be required before the commencement of work to secure materials.
Methods: We accept cash, mobile money, and electronic bank transfers.
Clear Access: The Client must ensure clear and safe access to the work area, including moving fragile or valuable items away from the immediate vicinity (e.g., clearing the space around a flooded area).
Pets and Minors: For the safety of our technicians and your household, please ensure pets and children are kept away from active work zones.
Utility Control: The Client is responsible for ensuring our technicians have access to the main water shut-off valves and electrical distribution boards as needed.
Workmanship Guarantee: We take pride in our craft. GWS Plumbing and Irrigation provides a standard warranty on our workmanship (duration specified on your invoice).
Material Warranty: Parts and fixtures supplied by us are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We are not liable for the failure of materials provided directly by the Client.
Pre-existing Damage: We cannot be held liable for existing structural weakness, pre-existing water damage, or issues arising from prior faulty plumbing work performed by third parties.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Zimbabwean courts.
